Mental Health and Wellbeing
It is estimated that three children in every primary class have a mental health problem and many more will struggle with a particular issue such as bullying or bereavement. In addition, we are all acutely aware of the potential impact of isolation due to school closure on children's mental wellbeing. Please do talk to your child about how they are feeling and let them know that they are not alone. It can sometimes be hard to begin a conversation around mental health but it will be worth it.
